The plant is a perennial herbaceous species with a compact growth form, reaching a height of 10–30 cm. The leaf blades are oval-elliptical in shape, and the surface texture varies from velvety to slightly glossy.

The variety is used as an ornamental foliage crop for indoor landscaping. Due to its compactness and humidity requirements, it is optimal for keeping in terrariums, mini-gardens, and small planters.
