The variety is a hybrid of Geranium himalayense and Geranium wallichianum. The plant forms lush bushes with dissected leaves, which are green in summer and acquire red-orange shades in autumn. The flowers are large, up to 5 cm in diameter, blue-violet with a white center and purple veins.

The plant has high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -28...-30 °C, and strong immunity to diseases and pests. The variety has trailing shoots that function as ground cover. In landscape design, it is used for mixed borders, underplanting shrubs, and container cultivation.
