Variety description

The plant forms a compact clump 30–45 cm tall. The leaves retain a rich dark violet or purple-black hue throughout the entire growing season. The flowers, 3.5–4.5 cm in diameter, are cup-shaped and lavender-blue in color, situated on upright reddish stems.
Flowering begins in May and can continue until autumn; a second wave is possible if spent stems are pruned. The variety is completely winter-hardy and undemanding in care. It is used in ornamental gardening to create contrasting compositions and attracts bees and other beneficial insects.
