Variety description

Evergreen or semi-evergreen herbaceous perennial 20 to 38 cm in height and up to 50 cm in width. Leaves are dark green, leathery, and palmately compound. The plant has a strong, upright habit and does not require complex care, preferring partial shade and well-drained soils.

Large cup-shaped flowers are pure white with golden stamens, and are directed upwards or outwards. With age or in cool weather, the petals may acquire a greenish or pinkish hue. Flowering begins significantly earlier than that of the base species.

The variety possesses resistance to Verticillium wilt and is valued for its ornamental appeal during the winter period. It is a clone that is propagated by tissue culture to maintain stable characteristics.
