Helleborus 'Moonshine' (sometimes classified as Helleborus × ericsmithii 'Moonshine') is an evergreen plant forming dense clumps. Its leaves are leathery, deeply divided, and colored gray-green. Upright flower stalks bear outward-facing flowers, with shades ranging from greenish-white to yellow-green.

The plant reaches a height of about 0.5 meters. It prefers sites with partial shade or full sun, as well as well-drained, moist soils with a neutral or alkaline reaction. Flowering occurs in late winter to early spring. All parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested, and the plant itself requires protection from cold winds.
