Variety description

The plant forms a dense bush with dark green serrated leaves. The flowers are solitary, outward-facing, and colored in pink tones, which change to greenish and deep ruby as flowering progresses. The flower diameter is approximately 7.5–8 cm.

Flowering begins in late winter or mid-spring, starting around February. The variety is frost-hardy (USDA zones 5–9). It prefers partial shade and well-drained soils with a neutral or alkaline reaction; it is suitable for mixed borders, rock gardens, and container cultivation.
