The 'Ivory Prince' variety is a complex interspecific hybrid, forming a compact clump 30–45 cm in height. It is distinguished by leathery dark green foliage with silvery veining and serrated margins. The sturdy stems have a reddish or wine-colored tint.

The flowers of the variety are directed upward or outward, colored cream-white with a greenish tint and pink blushes that intensify as blooming progresses. The flowering period occurs in late winter and early spring. The plant is characterized by high disease resistance and winter hardiness in USDA zones 4–9.

The plant is used in ornamental gardening for planting in borders, mixed borders, under tree canopies, and in containers; it is also suitable for cutting. For commercial purposes, it is propagated vegetatively, as varietal characteristics are often not maintained through seed propagation.
