Variety description

The plant forms an upright, bushy habit 40–60 cm wide. Leaves are dark green, leathery, with characteristic light veins. Flower stalks have a distinct dark plum-red tint; cup-shaped flowers are directed upwards or sideways.

Flowering begins in late winter or early spring, from January to March-April. The variety prefers partial shade and fertile, well-drained soils with a neutral or alkaline reaction. Possesses high frost resistance (down to -20 °C) and is suitable for cultivation in gardens and containers.
