The variety was obtained by crossing Brewers Gold and Northern Brewer varieties with the participation of a wild male hop. The plant is vigorous, with a cylindrical shape, green-red stems, and long, strong side shoots. The first fruit-bearing shoots are located at a height of about 70 cm from the soil.
The hop is classified as bitter but possesses dual-purpose characteristics, making it suitable for both bittering and flavoring beer. The beta-acid content is 3.5–5.0%. The aromatic profile includes notes of honeydew melon, lime, green apple, white grape, and fresh cucumber.
The variety is used in brewing for ales, lagers, and wheat beers, including dry hopping. It belongs to the early maturity group in terms of sprout emergence. Information on disease resistance is limited to phytosanitary control screenings within collection plantings.
