Variety description

The variety is mid-early and has a moderate growth rate. The plant is characterized by high resistance to Verticillium wilt, downy mildew, and powdery mildew. When grown on quality soils, the variety shows high yields with good cone formation.
The alpha-acid content is 5–14%, with a low cohumulone level (28–34%) contributing to a smooth bitterness. The aroma of the variety includes shades of spices, herbs, black pepper, citrus, apricot, as well as notes of jasmine, anise, and licorice.
The hop is used primarily in brewing for the preparation of German lagers, pilsners, helles, wheat beer, as well as Saison and Tripel style ales.
