Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a descendant of Apollo and Merkur. The cones are oval-shaped, with an average length of about 28 mm and a mass of 100 dry cones of about 20 g. The plant possesses good agronomic characteristics and disease resistance.

The alpha-acid content is 17–20%, and beta-acid content is 4.5–6%. The total essential oil content ranges from 2.5 to 4.4 ml/100 g, with myrcene and humulene being dominant. The aromatic profile includes notes of black currant, mango, citrus, mint, and spices.

The hop is used to impart bitterness and aroma to beer. The variety is suitable for the production of lagers, pale ales, and craft beverages and is an independent variety, distinct from the American Eureka!.
