The variety is a descendant of Hallertauer Gold and Ku II/18. The plant is a perennial, mid-late maturity, with resistance to wilt, downy mildew, and powdery mildew. The potential yield is 1500–2100 kg/ha.
The hop belongs to the 'Noble-plus' aromatic type with utility for bitterness. Alpha-acid content varies from 4.0 to 7.6%, beta-acid — 3.5–5.5%. The essential oil profile is rich in humulene, myrcene, and caryophyllene.
The aromatic profile includes spicy and herbal notes of licorice, thyme, tarragon, and tea, complemented by floral and fruity nuances. The variety is recommended for the production of lagers, pilsners, wheat beers, and various ales.
