Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was obtained by crossing genetic material of European and American origin. Cones have a narrow-oval shape, the average length is about 26 mm, and the average dry weight of 100 cones is about 11 g. The variety has high resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, as well as to Verticillium wilt.

The chemical composition is characterized by an alpha-acid content in the range of 6.0–11.0%, beta-acids of 7.5–8.5%, and a cohumulone level of 23–24%. The total oil content is 1.5–2.1 ml/100 g. The product is distinguished by good storage stability.

In brewing, the variety is classified as aromatic. Due to a pronounced profile with shades of grapefruit, lemon, lime, pineapple, rose, and marjoram, it is recommended for late hopping and dry hopping in IPA styles, pale ales, and other beer varieties with an intense hop character.
