Variety description

The variety is a hybrid that originally had the working name 102/44. It belongs to aroma varieties, but is classified as dual-purpose, which allows it to be used for bitterness and aroma at various stages of hopping, including dry hopping. The yield is 1400–1800 kg/ha.

The cones have a narrow-oval shape, the average length is about 25–28 mm, and the weight of 100 dry cones is 10–20 g. The variety is characterized by good storage stability, as well as resistance to downy mildew and verticillium wilt.

The alpha-acid content is 6.0–12.0%, beta-acids are 2.1–4.0%, and cohumulone is 26–30% of alpha-acids. The total essential oil content is 0.7–1.7 ml/100 g with a myrcene fraction of 50–60%. The aromatic profile includes shades of pineapple, elderberry, pine, black tea, lemongrass, marjoram, and peppery and tobacco tones.
