The variety was obtained by crossing the American variety Cascade and an unknown male plant. The product is characterized by a high oil content averaging 1.8 ml/100 g and an alpha acid content in the range of 8.0–11.2%. The cohumulone content is 30–45%, and the variety is notable for its storage stability.

The flavor and aroma profile of the variety includes notes of mango, passion fruit, pineapple, as well as citrus, floral, and resinous undertones. The hop is used primarily for late and dry hopping in the production of IPA, NEIPA, and Pale Ale beer styles.
