The variety is a clone of the traditional Czech Žatecký poloraný červeňák variety. It belongs to the group of fine aromatic varieties and is intended exclusively for the brewing industry, in particular for creating the authentic profile of Pilsner-type beer.

The plant is characterized as a semi-early variety with medium-sized elongated-ovoid cones. Cultivation requires traditional high trellises up to 7 meters. Disease resistance is consistent with the general indicators of the Saaz group, including moderate resistance to downy mildew.

A distinctive feature of the product is the specific composition of essential oils, in particular a high content of farnesene. This ensures a balance of moderate bitterness and delicate aroma. The variety is used in modern brewing as a separate clone to emphasize the purity of the raw material.
