Variety description

The variety was discovered as a chance find at Virgil Gamache Farms in Washington state among plantings of the Liberty variety. The plant is characterized by the formation of a large number of small and compact cones.

The yield of the variety varies in the range from 1350 to 1800 kg/ha. The alpha-acid content is 7.0–11.0%, beta-acid content is 5.5–8.0%. The share of myrcene in the total volume of oils reaches 60–70%.

The variety belongs to the aromatic type, but due to the level of alpha-acids, it can be used as a dual-purpose hop. The main profile includes notes of orange, lemon, grapefruit, tropical fruits, melon, apricot, peach, and wildflowers.
