The Sladek variety, formerly known by the breeding number Vuch 71, is late-ripening and high-yielding. In the acid content profile, alpha acids account for 4.5–9%, beta acids — 3.5–7%. The total essential oil content varies from 1.0 to 2.0 ml/100 g, with myrcene, humulene, and caryophyllene predominating in the composition.

The aromatic profile of the variety includes classic hop nuances with fruit notes of peach, grapefruit, and passion fruit, as well as herbal, floral, and spicy tones. Due to its alpha acid content, the variety is used both for imparting bitterness and for forming aroma in brewing. It is used at late hopping stages and for dry hopping in the production of lagers, pilsners, and various styles of ales.
