The Zahrava variety is an aroma hop with a high content of resinous substances. In brewing, it is valued for its intense bitterness and unique biochemical composition, which allows it to be used both for independent hopping and for adjusting the flavor profiles of beer.

Due to its genetic resistance, the variety is used in breeding programs as a control sample when studying hop resistance to downy mildew. When using this variety in production, it is recommended to reduce the pellet dosage by approximately 10% to prevent excessive bitterness in the beverage.
