Variety description

The shrub is characterized by a compact, dense, and upright form. The plant reaches 1.0–1.5 m in height and width; under favorable conditions, it may reach a height of up to 2 m. The leaves are large, ovate, dark green with a serrated edge.

The 'mophead' type inflorescences have a spherical shape and a diameter of 15 to 25 cm. The color of the flowers varies from pink or lilac-pink on neutral and alkaline soils to bright blue or blue on acidic soils. The shrub's shoots are sufficiently strong.

The variety has frost resistance in zone 5–6 (down to -20...-23 °C) and requires mandatory protection of flower buds for the winter. The plant is moisture-loving and does not tolerate soil drying or calcareous soils. Suitable for solitary or group plantings, borders, and container cultivation.
