Variety description

The variety has large mophead-type spherical inflorescences. The flowers are pink, but can take on a brick-red hue towards autumn, and in acidic soils the petals become bluish. The bush height is 1.2–1.4 meters; the size of the inflorescences appears disproportionately large relative to the plant.

Flowering is early, lasting from July to September. The plant has winter hardiness down to -18 °C. The variety prefers humus-rich, moist, and deep soils. Due to its compact habit, it is suitable for growing in containers and planting in the foreground of flower beds.
