The Merritt’s Supreme Pink variety is a representative of the Hydrangea macrophylla species. A characteristic feature of this variety is its large, bright pink inflorescences.

The plant blooms on the previous year's shoots, which requires a specific approach to pruning. The color of the flowers depends directly on the pH value of the soil in which the shrub is grown.
