The plant is an upright, well-branched shrub with a height and width of 1.2–1.5 m. The shoots are sturdy with reddish-brown bark; the leaves are bright green and oval in shape. The inflorescences are broadly pyramidal, 20–30 cm long, consisting of sterile flowers directed upward and gracefully drooping lower ones.
Flowering occurs from June to October. At the beginning of flowering, the flowers are white or cream, and by autumn they acquire a pink or purple hue. The variety possesses high winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zones 4 or 5, and withstands frosts down to -28...-34 °C without cover.
Suitable for solitary and group plantings, hedges, container cultivation, and use in cut flower arrangements. Requires regular watering, fertilization, and annual spring pruning.
