Variety description

The mature plant reaches a height of 1.5–3 meters. Leaves are dark green with a golden center, margins are serrated. In May, inconspicuous white flowers bloom. The fruits are small inedible berries that ripen by the end of summer and can remain on the branches until spring.

The variety prefers fertile, well-drained, and moist soils. It tolerates both full sun and partial shade well. Used in landscape gardening as a specimen plant or for creating hedges.
