Variety description

The plant is a compact, upright, and well-branched shrub with a dense structure due to short internodes. Without formative pruning, the bush reaches a height and width of 0.8–1.2 m. Dark green glossy leathery leaves are characterized by softer pubescence, being less prickly compared to other varieties of the species.

The variety is a female selection with abundant fruiting. Bright red berries ripen earlier than those of many other varieties and remain on the bush for a long time. The plant possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -25 °C, and is suitable for hedges, container gardening, or mixed plantings.
