Variety description

The shrub has a dense vertical structure, reaching a mature height of 2.4–3.0 m with a width of 0.9–1.5 m. The leaves are simple, elliptical, glossy, dark green with spiny margins; young shoots may have a yellow-green hue.

The plant is a female variety and requires the presence of a male pollinator to form bright red berries, which ripen in autumn and persist throughout winter. The variety is characterized by vigorous growth, good branching, and frost resistance down to -25°C.

Used for solitary and group plantings, creation of hedges, and container gardening. The plant is toxic if ingested.
