Variety description

The variety is a deciduous shrub with a spreading crown shape and high growth energy. The plant exhibits resistance to wet conditions and prefers acidic soils.

This variety is female; therefore, to form berries, the presence of a male pollinator plant that blooms late, such as the variety «Southern Gentleman», is required. The shrub's fruits serve as a food source for birds.

In landscape design, the shrub is used to create hedges, borders, or as a specimen plant.
