Variety description

The shrub is characterized by dense and compact upright growth. An adult plant reaches a height of 2.5–3.5 m and a width of 0.8–1.5 m, with an annual growth rate of 20–40 cm.

Leaves are lanceolate or elliptical, glossy, dark green in color, with teeth along the margins. Young shoots are distinguished by a copper-brown or bronze tint.

The variety is male, does not produce fruit, and serves as a pollinator. The plant is frost-resistant, withstands temperatures down to -20...-27°C (zones 5a/5b), tolerates pruning well, and prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations with fertile slightly acidic or neutral soil.
