The variety is diploid (2n) and is intended for the production of high-quality and healthy forage. In terms of earliness, the variety is comparable to the variety «Caribu». It is characterized by rapid and reliable establishment upon sowing.

It is distinguished by high resistance to leaf diseases, in particular, to the pathogen Bipolaris sorokiniana, which was achieved through intensive breeding using artificial inoculation. The variety also underwent scientific research on reducing seed shattering to increase seed productivity.
