The Yolande variety is a diploid Italian ryegrass with a characteristic leafy growth type. In the year of sowing and during regrowth after mowing, it shows very weak stem formation, which allows it to be classified as a true variety of this species.

The plant has high dry matter productivity and provides high-quality fodder. The variety is characterized by very high resistance to rust, as well as good resistance to Xanthomonas and Helminthosporium leaf spot.

The variety is intended for intensive use, establishes quickly in the field, and is suitable for use as hay or silage.
