The variety belongs to tetraploid forms of Italian ryegrass. It is intended for agricultural use as a forage crop, including the establishment of temporary pastures and forage production.

Under field conditions, the variety was evaluated for susceptibility to rust and was used as a control standard in the study of green mass yield and plant height.
