The variety is intended for use in seed mixtures for the establishment of lawns, golf courses, sports fields, and roadside landscaping. The plant is characterized by rapid seed germination and the ability to form a dense green sod.
The plant tissues contain Neotyphodium endophytes, which contribute to increased tolerance to drought and certain pests, such as sod webworms and weevils. The variety has undergone testing for resistance to turfgrass diseases, including dollar spot.
