Vigorous deciduous shrub 150–200 cm in height with a compact or slightly spreading habit. Leaves are grey-green, oval-lanceolate. Small pale-yellow flowers have a light fragrance and are characterized by very early flowering.
Fruits are elongated, blue in color with a waxy bloom, and have a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety is early-maturing; harvesting begins from the end of May to early June.
The plant possesses high frost resistance (down to -40°C) and flower resistance to spring frosts. The variety is not self-fertile; cross-pollination with other varieties flowering during the same period is necessary for fruiting.
