The tree of this variety is vigorous and energetic, entering into bearing quickly. It requires balanced pruning to prevent biennial bearing and to form in a central leader or fruiting wall type. Flowering times are close to the Gala variety; other diploid varieties with the same flowering period are suitable as pollinators.

Fruits of medium size (75–85 mm) have a solid dark red color. Flesh firmness is about 7.5 kg/cm², and sugar content reaches 13°Brix. The fruits possess good resistance to mechanical damage and a high storage potential under controlled atmosphere conditions. Harvesting takes place in early-mid October.

Resistance to scab and canker is at the level of the Gala variety. The variety is characterized by a low tendency for flower drop during adverse spring weather conditions.
