The tree is distinguished by very vigorous growth, exceeding the vigor of the Golden Delicious variety by 20%, and has a broadly rounded crown. The variety is triploid and self-incompatible; it is not an effective pollinator for other apple trees.

The fruits are large, weighing 180–200 g, round-conical in shape with greenish-yellow skin, sometimes with a blush. The flesh is greenish-cream, firm and juicy, and possesses a harmonious taste with increased acidity and slight astringency. The harvest ripens in the first ten days of October, and the fruits can be stored for up to 6 months.

The variety shows moderate resistance to diseases, being less susceptible to scab and powdery mildew than Golden Delicious. The variety is characterized by biennial bearing.
