Cox's Orange (Storfrugtet) is a form of the Cox's Orange Pippin variety with larger fruits. The tree is medium-sized with a spreading crown, reaching 3–5 meters in height. The variety is demanding of growing conditions, preferring a mild and humid climate.

The fruits are round-conical in shape, yellow-green in color with an orange-red blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, fine-grained, juicy, and possesses a pronounced spicy aroma with notes of pear, melon, and anise. Harvest maturity occurs in late September — October, the consumption period lasts until winter.

The variety is intended for dessert use, and is also used for cooking and juices. The plant is characterized by susceptibility to fungal diseases, such as scab and canker, which requires regular protective measures.
