The tree is medium-sized, forming a spreading crown. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators. It develops best in a mild maritime climate and requires well-ventilated soils with high water-holding capacity.
Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 100–140 g, and are round or slightly conical in shape. The surface is orange-red with carmine streaks and a touch of russeting on a yellowish-green background. The flesh is creamy white, fine-grained, and juicy.
Fruit harvest occurs in late September to early October. The variety is used mainly fresh, as well as in the production of juices and ciders. Due to its qualities, it is often used in breeding as a parent form.
