The fruits are medium-sized and have a round, slightly asymmetrical shape. The skin is smooth and firm, colored greenish-yellow, with a light blush appearing on the sunny side upon full ripening. The surface is covered with characteristic pronounced lenticels and areas of russeting.

The flesh of the fruits is juicy, fine-grained, and yellowish-green in color. The taste is characterized as mildly acidic with a pronounced spicy, "rennet" aroma. Harvest maturity occurs in October–November; with proper storage, the apples retain their consumer qualities until February. The trees can be grown as high-stem or low-stem plantings.
