The tree is characterized as medium-vigorous, forming a high-arched crown, and possesses good yield. The variety is diploid and self-sterile, therefore requiring pollinators.

Fruits are small to medium in size and flat-round in shape. The skin is greenish-yellow at harvest, becoming golden-yellow upon ripening, often with punctate russeting and a possible light blush. The flesh is yellowish, juicy, with a "vinous" spicy flavor.

Belongs to winter varieties. Fruit harvest begins in early October, they store until February, reaching peak flavor qualities one month after picking. The variety is not recommended for planting in open, windy areas.
