The variety was obtained by crossing Korichnoye Polosatoye and Kalvil belyi zimniy. The trees are vigorous, form a wide-pyramidal crown, and enter fruit-bearing at 4–6 years of age. The crop ripens in late August — early September, and bearing becomes biennial with age. The variety is self-sterile; Anis and Melba are suitable as pollinators.

The fruits are large, reaching 200 g, and have an oblate-round ribbed shape. The ground color of the skin is light yellow, with a red blush in the form of stripes and streaks appearing upon ripening. The flesh is cream-colored, tender, juicy, and has a sweet taste with a slight acidity. The variety possesses high winter hardiness and medium resistance to scab.
