The variety is an improved form of the Elstar apple tree. The fruits are characterized by a larger size and uniform red color, while their shape may be somewhat flatter than that of the original variety.

It is an autumn variety with a harvest period in late August to early September. The tree is grown on various rootstocks, including M9, which determines its height within the range of 2–4 meters. The variety has a lower tendency for biennial bearing and low sensitivity to mechanical damage during transport.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption as a table fruit and is widely used in commercial fruit growing due to its high market quality.
