The Elstar Reinhardt variety is a bud mutation of the classic Elstar variety. The main characteristics of the plant and fruit correspond to the parent variety, but the clone is distinguished by a more pronounced red skin color.

The fruits are medium-sized, round in shape, have a sweet taste with a slight acidity, and are intended for fresh consumption or processing. Harvesting takes place from September to October.

The plant belongs to autumn or winter varieties. Resistance to major apple diseases, including scab and powdery mildew, is assessed as medium or low, which requires specific growing conditions and protection.
