The fruits have a round-cylindrical shape, juicy flesh, and a specific aroma. The harvest is collected in mid-to-late September; consumer maturity occurs from October to December. During storage, the flavor qualities of the fruits may decrease rapidly.

The tree can reach a height of 2 to 8 meters, with a range of 4–6 meters being more common. The variety is sensitive to fire blight, fruit tree canker, bitter pit, and spider mite infestation. The fruits have low wind resistance, so it is recommended to plant the tree in protected locations.

James Grieve, Goldparmäne, Weißer Klarapfel, or Cox Orange are suitable as pollinator varieties. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for making juices, musts, compotes, jellies, dried fruits, and for use in baking.
