The tree is characterized by medium vigor, the crown changes shape with age from pyramidal to broad-rounded, and the branches are prone to drooping. The fruits are highly rounded, weighing about 90 g, have smooth yellow-green skin, which turns golden-yellow upon ripening with a reddish blush or marbled pattern.

Harvest maturity occurs at the end of September or beginning of October; the fruits are suitable for consumption from October to April. The variety is relatively resistant to scab, however, it is prone to bitter pit and skin browning, and on heavy soils it is susceptible to fruit tree canker. It bears fruit annually and is suitable for espalier training.
