The fruits are large or medium, flat or round-flat in shape, often with pronounced ribbing. The skin's ground color is pale green or yellowish-white, almost entirely covered by a bright red blush and stripes. Harvesting takes place from late September to October.

The fruit flesh is white, sometimes with a pinkish tint under the skin, of a firm fine-grained structure, moderately juicy. The taste is sweet with a slight acidity and aroma. After picking, the fruits can be hard; their flavor qualities improve when stored until December. The variety has good keeping quality; in a refrigerator, the fruits can be stored for about three months.

The tree is distinguished by its decorative spring flowering. The variety is primarily used as a dessert variety and is also valued for the ability to produce aesthetically pleasing pink-colored juice.
