The GIAN D'ANDRÈ variety, also known as Giandré, is a historical local variety characteristic of the Turin province in the Piedmont region. The tree has medium vigor.
The fruits of the variety are small in size and often have an asymmetric truncate-conical shape. The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group and is characterized by high yield. In modern agronomy, it is considered an object for the conservation of the genetic diversity of autochthonous fruit crops.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
