The variety is a local ecotype traditionally used in household cultivation. Genetic studies confirm that Giallo di Priuso 2 is a synonym for Giallo di Priuso 1, also known by the names Pigne d'unvièr and Zâl di Muner.

Tree flowering occurs in April, and the harvest takes place in September. The fruits are suitable for consumption 20 days after harvest and retain their quality until January. The plant is characterized by good productivity.

The fruits have an oblong shape, yellow-orange skin with brownish lenticels, and moderately juicy white flesh with a characteristic tart taste.
