The fruits are medium-sized, of a regular spherical shape with slight ribbing. The skin is greenish-yellow, with a significant part of the surface covered by a carmine-red blush. The flesh is white, sometimes with a pink hue under the skin, and has a sweet-tart taste.

The variety is a winter type; the period of consumer maturity for the fruits falls between December and April. The tree is traditionally grown in a high-stem form and is used in functional plantings to maintain biodiversity in the agricultural landscape.
