The tree is vigorous, forming a wide crown; the variety is triploid. Fruits are medium-sized, round, often slightly flattened or uneven. The ground color is green-yellow, sometimes with a dull red blush. The skin is dry, coarse, and rough with brown russeting over the entire surface. The flesh is whitish-green to yellowish-white, juicy, with a balance of sugar and acid.
The variety is of winter maturity; harvest maturity occurs in October. Consumer maturity of the fruits lasts from December to March, and they store until the end of spring. Trees require deep, fertile, and moist soils; they are prone to biennial bearing and premature fruit drop. They are characterized by high resistance to scab and canker.
