The tree is vigorous, forming a wide spreading crown 4–6 meters in height. It is a triploid variety, therefore it does not act as a pollinator for other apple trees and requires pollinators for its own fruiting. The variety shows a tendency toward biennial bearing and is sensitive to scab and powdery mildew.

The fruits are medium to large in size, having an oblong, sometimes ribbed shape. The skin is thin, waxy, and greenish-yellow in color with red stripes or a blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, fine-grained, and crisp.

The variety belongs to summer or early autumn types: ripening occurs from August to October. The fruits are of universal use, suitable for fresh consumption, baking, and the production of juices and cider. The variety is not intended for long-term storage and requires rapid processing or sale.
